Wedding Pillars

If you make a wedding cake teired how do you make the cake was not all the pillars of the puree?

On each layer of cake, wooden dowels are inserted at the exact height of cake and cardboard cake circles are placed on top includin Teir next cake. Some levels are built with cake plates and dowels included. Independently for each layer, you must be structured with supports and advice. If all is not well, I'm sure you've seen what happens. Usually on large cakes, a round cake pan is positioned on top of each layer and "frosted". The pillars are placed on top of cake towers (sometimes tricks are notched to hold it in place) so that the pillars do not sink.

They will use a skewer right through the layers how ever there may be many and a database instance to hold each cake layer: cardboard disks.

My wedding cake they put a piece of plastic or cardboard on top of cake and covered it with icing. I'm sure you can check your local grocer that makes cakes ... I'm sure they can tell you .... you can even go to a Michael ... They have stuff there.
