Wedding Cake Flavors

Was wondering what are the popular flavors for wedding cakes? Also, many of my family are chocolate lovers, me and my fiance can not, but I also know that many like white cake .. Is it possible to do half and half? What is the average price cycle of wedding cakes?

I've been to a couple of weddings and most of the time they were regular vanilla frosting flavored cream /. If you are unsure, you can always make a different flavor for each level.

I went with five different flavors:

White with fresh strawberries with cream cheese
Marble with moose chocolate topping
Red Velvet with cream cheese
Chocolate with chocolate filling moose
Carrots with cream cheese

Had the 300 wedding guests were so we went with 3 levels and cakes 2 1 / 2 sheet which lowers the cost. Cake are all together was $ 600

My brother was like seven different layers on a support special cake, but it is not afforable. You can have as many different tastes that you can afford. Second layer in the middle could be a red velvet.First may be white or yellow cake, there is a difference - white is lighter, as is more regular white yellow which is what most wedding cakes are made . You may have a layer of carrot cake, a coconut, as much as you can afford, if you want to do. If not, you do two layers one yellow and one chocolate. If three guess I have two chocolate and one yellow. Need to check in bakeries or cake bakers different as far as price. Places like WalMart and grocery chains make great wedding cakes and are cheaper, but be sure to request a sample. Anything you want, anything is possible and that you are the bride. Also bakery or baker can give instructions as best way to cut the cake, expecially if you think you have to stretch, small cuts, they just need a taste, however, I could eat half of cake, they can do with a smaller portion if necessary.
