Worldwide, cardiovascular surgeons and dieticians have recommended a diet rich in fiber to successful weight loss. Research has shown the key role played by diet in the prevention of chronic diseases and longevity. A balanced diet should be low in animal products and fats and high in vegetables, fruits and other foods rich in fiber.

A balanced diet, by its very definition tends to "vegetarianism. Such a scheme may help regulate digestion, maintain healthy cholesterol and sugar levels in the blood. But vegetarianism is not a diet in the short term - it is a lifestyle choice. The research showed a statistical correlation between vegetarianism and long-term physical activity and less smoking and drinking-related toxicity. Vegetarians also have lower death rates from chronic diseases.

There are different types of vegetarians:

aec Vegans or strict vegetarians - They do not eat or use animal products. Fur and leather is avoided with edible products of animal origin such as honey. Their basic scheme is rich in vegetables, fruits, legumes, grains, seeds and succulents basis.

aec raw vegan - they are vegan whose diet consists largely of raw vegan foods. This includes foods such as sprouted seeds, fermented foods, and vegetable fats untreated. In recent years, this system has become popular because it provides a simple and delicious weight loss. Raw vegan foods also high in fiber so that people are not hungry on this plan.

Lacto-ovo vegetarian aec - They include dairy products (lacto) and eggs (ovo) in their diet as well as fruit and vegetables. This plan offers a great way to spend a non-vegetarian diet to a vegetarian diet because it is not as stringent as vegans.

aec Pesco and Pollo-vegetarians - Pesco-vegetarians include fish in their diet while pollo-vegetarian chicken. Thus, they can not be strictly included in vegetarianism. However, they are staunch advocates of healthy food choices and biological detoxification and health reasons.

A vegetarian diet, whatever its form, gives an allowance to weight loss mainly due to its caloric density. This means that a diet rich in fiber fills up quickly, and helps curb your appetite. It is a natural way to eat less and do overweight.

Even vegetarians need to monitor their overall consumption of calories to stay healthy. A brownie vegetarian lasagna can add to the size as easily as burgers and fries. If you go vegetarian, you must have a variety of plant foods rich in fiber and whole grains and avoid fatty foods to maximize benefits.

If you are concerned about good health and long life, you should consider vegetarianism, or at least increase your consumption or raw foods and fiber. Besides the benefits for weight loss, a vegetarian diet can increase energy levels and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. Is not it worth considering?
