Vegetable Oil Price Per Gallon

Posted on March 1, 2010.
Vegetable Oil Price Per GallonWhy so few people know / use of vegetable oil to power their vehicles?

economy with gas prices / how they are, I do not understand why people do not do that. Many people dismiss it as impractical, but paying $ 2 a gallon instead of a few cents per gallon seems impractical for me, haha.

only vegetable oil that was used is cheaper than gasoline, and when you use vegetable oil that has been used, you must go through several more steps to refine it and clean it but it is cheaper than diesel fuel if it costs about 80 cents a gallon If you use the recycled stuff, you can obtain a shark of fuel to everything you need oil. But there is one major drawback, the only reason it is cheap now there are not many people do. If we all started to make this request, the outcome would be the weight of supply and it would be expensive to be practical.

First, the vegetable oil can be used in a vehicle with a diesel engine.
And how is it cheaper? I buy a deep fryer and vegetable oil in gallon jugs at Wal-Mart, around $ 5 for a gallon container. So if diesel fuel at the pump is only $ 2/gallon, why would I go to Wal-Mart and pay $ 50 for 10 gallons of oil when I can get the same amount of diesel for $ 20?

It has its advantages, if you can find fast food restaurants to donate their used oil and you have the capital to build a treatment plant and then mixed with the cleaned and recycled vegetable oil diesel fuel and use in your own vehicle. In doing so, the total expenditure of the treatment plant will be profitable in maybe five years, maybe less, and your overall cost to keep your diesel vehicle will be somewhat reduced annually until the balance costs and start saving you money. But the savings are not instantaneous, but in the long term.

Seems impractical because of the processing period and steps ...

For us Malaysians, even those in the United Kingdom, we believe the same thing - training manual to save fuel. You can actually control the vehicle speed and gear better with that.

So let's talk a little more Malaysians and manual driving ...

Malaysians have only one way to pass the driving test - pass the manual shifter driving test. Therefore, we can drive both types of gear any motorized vehicle.

Malaysians also have a tendency to tilt the conduct of the RHD (RHD) vehicles rather than the left. This is due to the influence of the British. The Germans and Americans, however, managed to bring some vehicles driving on the left and, surprisingly, even if it has a shifter on the right, Malaysians get very easily adapted to conduct such! (The same thing for the Filipinos, they are well known for driving two-side)

The girls and guys like all the players handbook, until the popularization of the automobile, where girls are more aristocrats, wealthy entrepreneurs, even prefer to drive. Guys, the traditionalists (I am) and athletic girls prefer manual, and where we play around with the clutch, gear shift and wants to change.

There is not much publicity about the advantages compared to gas. Startup costs can not be profitable now.

What do you mean???

Only vehicles with diesel engines can run vegetable oil!

In addition, vegetable oil off the shelf is much more expensive per gallon.
