When it comes to making desserts for my family during the hot months of summer, I look for recipes that do not turn on my oven. Revenue should be easy with common ingredients every day and, more importantly, great taste!

When it comes to making these pies, it is important to remember that they must be refrigerated for several hours before serving them. If you wish, you can garnish your pie with whipped topping.

These recipes would be great for dessert every day or prepare for your next family reunion.

Chocolate Chiffon

1 baked pie crust
P1. unflavored gelatin
1 / 4 C. cold water
1 / 2 c. sugar
1 / 2 c. cocoa
1 / 2 c.. salt
1 1 / 4 c. milk
3 egg yolks
1 tsp heavy whipping cream
3 egg whites

Sprinkle gelatin over water in a bowl and let stand for 5 minutes. Mix sugar, cocoa and salt in a saucepan. Stir in milk and egg yolks. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens slightly, do not boil. Remove from heat. Add gelatin and stir until dissolved. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Whip cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold whipped cream into chocolate mixture, beat egg whites and add chocolate. Pour mixture into pie shell. Refrigerate until set.

Chocolate Amaretto

1 graham cracker crust
1 / 3 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp sugar
1 / 3 cup cornmeal
1 / 4 c.. salt
2 3 / 4 c. milk
3 c. soup. Amaretto Extract
2 v. soup. butter
1 tsp tea. vanilla

Combine cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan. Gradually blend in milk, stir until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in amaretto, butter and vanilla. Pour into pie crust. Refrigerate until firm.

Banana cream chocolate

1 baked pie crust
2 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
2 1 / 2 tsp milk
1 tsp sugar
5 c. soup. cornstarch
1 / 2 c.. salt
3 egg yolks beaten
1 tsp soup. butter
1 tsp tea. vanilla
2 med. bananas, sliced
1 tsp whipped cream

Put the baking chocolate and 1 1 / 2 cup milk in a water bath on the simmering water, heat and stir until melted. In a bowl, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt, mix remaining 1 cup of milk. Gradually add to chocolate mixture, stirring constantly. Immediately add the yolks of eggs. Cook until the mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Cook and stir 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla. Pour into a bowl. Cool. Spread a small amount of filling onto the bottom of the pie. Arrange a layer of sliced bananas on top of filling. Spread remaining filling. Cover bowl and let cool.
