Thumbprint CookiesCan be used instead of canned jam to cookies thumbprint jam?

I plan to do today thumbprint cookies with jam, jam, but the store was BlackBerry. I bought strawberry jam instead, but now I'm hesitant about their use. They seem to be the same consistency as jam, but it will be allowed to cook? Should I buy blackberry jam instead?

Yes they will work, I do it all the time, I even used jelly, jam, preserves and jams ...

Yes, in fact they work better than some of the jam. so go ahead and enjoy

Why not? Shoot, you can use what you want.

In fact, I only keep cookies for the use of my fingerprints and they are very good.

No, go ahead and use the canned. It is not that much difference.

You could just mix in a blender or food processor to get the right consistency. The only difference is that a canned fruit pieces in which it can not work for filling impressions so.
