Third Lung

My mother was diagnosed with non-small cell cancer one month before. She is receiving chemotherapy third stage today. As the treatment was started, she suffered acute pain in the chest, back and stomach. She also lack of appetite and insomnia.

So can anyone tell me what is the different between the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stages of chemotherapy treatment and how long chemotherapy should be given to third step it?

I've never heard of chemo stages. Not everyone receives the same drug or the number of treatments. This is the kind of questions and concerns, you should discuss with her oncologist.
