usually my brownies are hard on the edges. How can I avoid this? How do I round mild?

Many people overcook their brownies until a toothpick comes out clean when the next center of brownie comes out clean. Brownies are actually done when the toothpick comes out clean, about 1 inch inside the edge of the pan brownie. At this stage, they must be immediately removed from the oven to start the cooling process. The heat of the pan will continue to bake brownies and as it cools, it will leave you with the brownies moist.

Do not grease the pan with margarine or butter because it makes the edges and fry. Try using a pan spray butterflavored.

Check your brownies a few minutes earlier than your mix canned (if ur using a mixing box) recommends. This will help ensure you do not cook them well since the calibration of each individual oven is an approximation and not always accurate because it is in the test kitchens.

Perhaps your oven is too small as the sides of your stove are very close to the walls of the oven. You take new paper, then cut the same height as your stove, then moisten with water and place them around your stove (outside). In this case, your brownies will be cooked evenly. Hope this helps!
