Safflower Oil For Hair

I have a little chihuahua that is shedding its fur too and someone said to use safflower oil in his food for skin and coat. How should I use in their food and how often?

Well, it's the season for the dogs to start paying their winter coats. And even Chis soft fur throw A LOT! I have 4 of them, so I know.

But if your dog is developing bald spots, I would really like to make a quick trip to the vet to be sure this is not a skin disease, before completing his food with oil.
