Rum Cake

im making rum cake but I ran out of rum .. Am left about half of what I need. Can I replace half with great coniac Mariner? or will it taste differently?

it tastes different, but it might work.

There will come a little orange flavored, but I'm sure it would be nice. Personally, I would just exhausted and more rum. The way I rum cake .... I use the whole bottle! lol it's a place of Tortuga Rum cake in Nassau. mmmmmmmmmmm yummy

It will not be exactly the same taste, but I promise you'll like the results.
