Red Island Olive Oil

Posted on February 28, 2010.
Red Island Olive OilIs my hen's egg bound or ill??? PLEASE help ASAP!?

Rhode Island Red is almost a year now and usually lays eggs on the importance of everyday life. Well, maybe it was 3-4 days since she has laid an egg and I thought it was a bit strange, but thought it might be about everything and it was run like usual so I chalked up to climate change. Well when we went to check on her today its lower surface is extremely hot, I can feel a song (maybe an egg?), And she is losing feathers like crazy, particularly on its belly. We come to fetch her and we are covered with feathers. I have a hot bath for about 10 minutes, but I have a little olive oil in his throat, apply the lubricant on his back vent area where we could not feel an egg, and get his rest in a cage with dry towels and a heat lamp. Is it linked egg? What can I do for her? We leave the city in two days! I thought about putting some Terramycin in the water in case of infection. PLEASE HELP! I do not want to lose!

It seems to me that it is driven not bound egg. They are not laying while they are moulting. When our chicken feathers molt are everywhere. Two of us just finished molting a month ago.

is eggbound. Some of my chickens have done before. Heat a towel in the microwave, make sure it is warm but not hot. wrap in a warm towel. when it cools, reheat. The heat helps to get the egg out.it take some time. This method has worked with some of my chickens, and as a pigeon. You can also fill a sink with hot water. its grip in the water. but make sure the head and neck stay dry. this too will take some time, but should work.
good luck

This will sound crazy, but I saw at work. Add spicy chicken. peppers, whatever. Works every time .** Just a bit though!, Red pepper flakes too much work.
