Pocky Sticks

Posted on February 19, 2010.
Pocky SticksHow do you Pocky sticks?

I looked everywhere for a recipe for Pocky sticks, but I can not be good at all! If someone knows, please let me know. Thank you!

Here is the recipe. To use the dipping chocolate, chocolate icing strawberry / or if you prefer. If you use canned icing premade just put in the microwave till it is very soft (not melted) and then dip the sticks dry.

HOUSE Pocky CANNES (65 sticks of fact)

1 / 2 cup flour baker Strong
1 / 3 cup plain all-purpose flour
1 / 4 c. teaspoon salt
1 tsp tablespoons icing sugar
1 tsp teaspoon dry yeast
1 / 4 milk, warm
1 tsp tablespoons tahini
1 1 / 2 honey
Zest of 1 / 2 tangerines or 1 / 4 orange
1 1 / 2 butter at room temperature
3 cups of Spiral Power

1. Combine yeast and warm milk in a small bowl and mix. Fit dough hook in a blender and mix the dry ingredients at low speed.

2. In another bowl, combine honey and tahini together. Add the flour mixture and milk and baking mix with dry ingredients. Mix on medium speed to form a paste. Add zest and butter and 60ml water and continue mixing until dough is firm and elastic. I needed to add a little more flour to make dough come together after adding the butter because it was a little too wet.

3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

4. Preheat oven to 180c. Divide dough in half and HTE knead until smooth and then roll out into a rectangle. extended to 4 mm thick (1 / 4 inch). With a ruler and a sharp knife, cut strips 5mmx15cms and carefully transfer them on a tray lightly oiled or parchment paper lined baking sheet.

5. Bake for 10-15 minutes (careful, it may take a little longer or shorter). Want to golden brown, not yellow clear that it will not "snap" properly.
