Can you get sick from using outdated mix pizza crust on a pizza? I know this sounds weird, but I eat Betty Crocker pizza crust when I make homemade pizza, it is outdated. I noticed that it contains dried yeast, eggs and milk, so I wanted to be sure I will not get food poisoning or something to eat.
Yes you can. I saw a news special a few years back about Bisquick mix of old have mold spores in what made people sick. If the date is very old, he leaves. If it just recently expired, it is probably OK.
Eggs and milk are dehydrated or dried. The mix is also quite full of unpronounceable ingredients, which is also known as a preservative.
Unless there was flour weevils in it is perfectly safe to eat. And even then, my father insisted that they only add protein to otherwise bland food.
Really, I doubt that the attempt ....
