Pecan Cake

I would at least make a butter pecan cake ... I want ice cream as filling, and icing to top it all. what flavors would mesh the most?

caramel frosting would be good.

why not butter pecan? Everything else is butter pecan ...

You can try one of the following characteristics:
rum cream
apricot jelly
chocolate frosting

I would use a vanilla frosting plain white. I do not want to remove the taste of butter pecan.

Either white or vanilla frosting butter.

Or whipped cream or vanilla frosting cream cheese .....

You can try the pecans on top with some Cool Whip or my cream cheese icing fav
