Olio Olive Oil

Posted on February 24, 2010.
Olio Olive OilWhat is considered the best extra virgin olive oil?

I only used Olio Verde (2006/2007 harvest).

Those made with olives that Italy are considered the best. But I use whatever is on sale, which usually means a mixture of olives from Italy, Spain and other countries. It makes no difference to me.

I use Bertolli or Star, the two brands just as good.

any brand is good. . . as long as it is extra virgin. . . so do not cook over high heat

It should say 1OO% olive oil. This is the best type of your body. I heard that you should have a tablespoon a day to coat your ducts of the liver. Now, it is beyond me what a hepatic duct. :)
