What is the state produces the best maple syrup? I have always heard of maple syrup and Vermont maple syrup from New Hampshire. What other states are known for their maple syrup?
Vermont has a reputation, but is not the largest producer. This file should go to New York. Canada is a major producer, and Pennsylvania.
Syrup much evaporated from the sap of maple is the same regardless of where the sugar bush (maple stand of trees) was located. The quality depends on the race (early or late), Sanitation, and skilled operation of the evaporator.
In the pure maple syrup, nothing is added. This emerges from the tree, except that water was steamed on. The highest yield was from a tree called Sweet Sue, two per cent of sugar in its sap.
So, the best does not come from any state in some. The producer is seeking.
I do not know but I think it is Vermont.
Vermont and New Hampshire are famous, but they also really great to produce maple syrup in Quebec, Canada.
Vermont
Ohio is well known for its maple syrup. I eat almost every morning and it is very good!
I gotta go with Vermont. :)
Forget States. go to Canada
