Indian traditional medicine - A sector

In India, most villages do not have adequate medical facilities. But all the villages of traditional medicines and treatments to cure all diseases. Drugs in English are not provided in most villages. The government and social service agencies began to provide medical facilities in villages of Tamil Nadu, but they could not cover the entire rural population with adequate facilities. The rural population must rely on the local doctor called ethnic "VAITHYAR" in Tamil. They prepare medicines from medicinal plants available in the soil. They all follow the traditional method of preparation and ethnic medicines.

Now, people around the world began to realize the importance of traditional medicine prepared from medicinal plants. Urban residents have started using homeopathic, Ayurvedic and Siddha drugs for treating most diseases. They prefer this drug because it has no side effects, even in the long term. They believe that they are natural medicines. Thus, homeopathy, drugs and Siddha Aurvedic are revitalized and demand for such drugs are being drawn up. Homeopathic medicines, drugs and Siddha aurvedic are prepared from medicinal plants, which are naturally available in the soil.

In India, medicinal plants found in hedgerows, fallow land, fields, flooded areas, sacred groves, gardens, house, temple gardens, tree branches, etc. The seeds, nuts, fruits, flowers, buds, leaves, stems, roots, tubers, bark etc. of medicinal plants are used directly as drugs. Medicinal plants have different tastes, like sweet, bitter, sour, etc. The powder, paste, extract, smoke, ash, oil and juices are made from fresh herbs and dried drugs based their traditions and use them as medicines. This form of drugs are consumed and / or applied external medicine to cure diseases.
