Marie Callender's Cornbread Mix

Posted on February 22, 2010.
Marie Callender's Cornbread MixI make corn bread! What can I do to make it more moist?

Recipe:
1 1 / 2 tsp Water - I use milk instead of H20
1 package mixed Marie Callender's Corn Bread
Add water / milk
Mixing it
Pour into a saucepan
Bake @ 375 * F for 30-35 min

Also my oven is messed up I usually end up increasing the temperature. about 10 degrees and the addition of about 5-10 minutes more.

When it leaves the oven, I used to overturn on rack and cover it with the Country Crock butter.

the only thing I can suggest is after it is cut into pieces and serve then cut in half and butter them. or you can make a pot of pinto beans or white beans. when the beans are done to serve them in a bowl and use the corn bread to dip into the beans. Oh my God that is delicious.

Add 1 / 4 cup vegetable oil or melted butter in another way is to add a small can of creamed corn and how about 2 TBLS melted butter and can we just creamed corn .. Now we have a winner!

Add a little maple syrup tblspn the mixture

Add a pot of water on the rack below the bread of corn during cooking to make the air in the oven humid (I do this with all the baked goods)

With the milk add about 1 / 3 of a couple of water (perhaps not quite as good)
few drops of vanilla
and a spoonful of honey
This should help to damp

After the dough is mixed in some time I always cheddar cheese adds great flavor and keeps it very moist.

put some milk into the mixture as needed and cover with butter.

Believe me, I cook a lot of cornbread

put butter in the mix ..... yum

oil or water ... Im not sure I anythinmg
