Someone knows something about cheese gourmet? I have recently been introduced into a cheese shop, and I fell in love. I tried gureare Locatelli (not sure of the spelling of these.) Anyway, I'm addicted to cheese, but I really have no idea what to do with all the cheeses, I ' I never heard a name I can 't say Any other cheese addicts out there? That would be good for cooking, fondue, a little eating, etc? I like strong cheeses like Locatelli, soft cheeses like brie and sweet. Thank you!
I like cheese too. Usually I eat a biscuit with my little cheese. My favorite is Saint-Fedlicien. I like Roaring Forties Blue too. Some cheeses are other great explorer and Munster. I strongly flavored cheese stinky! We buy olives and dried apricots, maybe a salad and dinner some evenings. Easy, but a bit expensive to do very often.
I use Emmental, Gruyere and Appenzaller Old Nice for fondue. The better the cheese, the better it will taste. However, you can add cheese harder and it will work well. Also, I combine all the remaining cheese (all the small details and finishes) melted with a little cream and garlic and mix with cooked Gemelli. It is a great tasty meal!
Believve I was a mouse in a previous life and could write a novel to answer this person. Below is an excellent resource. Ask your cheesemonger to make suggestions. Enjoy your trip!
Any workshop of cheese, or a deli that stocks of many cheeses, will be able to make recommendations for a particular cheese, or recommend a cheese to the application you are interested in. Cheese.com is an excellent resource.
