Is Karo (corn syrup) are bad (if not open)? I have a container of Karo corn syrup. I've had probably 4 years (certainly not more than 5). It is not open. Is it acceptable to use or should I throw?
It is light corn syrup and it seems to be a pale yellow color.
That Web site Karo corn syrup. (Www.karosyrup.com)
"How long can Karo syrup be stored?
Karo syrup is safe to eat for an indefinite period if it has been opened or unopened. Bottles may be refrigerated after opening, however, the syrup will be thicker and slower to flow. "
No, it does not hurt. The only thing that will ruin the Karo syrup mold. If it is not moldy, it's fine.

Being a former leader since he is not open, it is beautiful, they found traces of honey pots in the ancient world over 1,000 years old??
It is only if they have been contaminated after opening, there is someone to insert a finger or by adding bacteria from there mouth, it is preferable refrigated after opening, because once Change of air and space opens up between the syrup and top of the bottle.
I do not want to sound rude, but some adults and children not using it is the only way she could go anywhere, but in the refrigerator temparture not prevent bacteria from growing or live.
I use in my pecan pie filling on crepes, in a BBQ sauce and Galz for chicken or pork.
it should probably be fine if it is not open, the syrup has a high sugar content that keeps well. take a little taste before you use it, but I think it will be ok.
