Is the brand name of a comic book affect an Irish American cooking? I wonder if I named my company after a former comics (ie. "Boop!) Would I be vulnerable to court cases? it is everywhere on the net I can get a basic guide to trademark law in Ireland and abroad?

nope intellectual property, it is the business of trademarking your ideas. so if you include your business name in this cartoon, it's fine as long as your local trade and industry (DTI) grant that as your business name or business name, then it is good after you record your local IP office (IPO) of your brand. Just go there and ask for the application of these ssistance.
