How do you cupcake picks? I have a granddaughter of 4 years and the last thing seems to be to give each child a choice of cupcakes with their piece of cake. These are the toothpick like things that sit on top of cake. She wanted to "lapdog" and I can not find them anywhere. His birthday is on Saturday. I needed to do something. Any ideas how??
If he has a "favorite" dog - especially a true, take a picture of him and harvest size of approximately one quarter. Cut & Paste the image until you have copied many times, and then printed on thick paper and the type of card stock. Then cut them out and just glue them on toothpicks regular - front and rear! How fun for your granddaughter to have chosen VERY custom doggie!
Here are some sites with peaks cake
try looking Michals or lobby hobby or party store. if u cannot find make candy and lolly pop sticks. u can find the kits at any craft store.
Instead of cupcake picks, why not try to make cupcakes puppy.

I would check the craft stores for toothpicks, places like AC Moore, Michael arts and crafts, or you can buy gum in the shape of small animals and possibly glue them to the end of the toothpick. .. or Wall-Mart sells small plastic animals in the bag, you can buy a bag of 99 cents and see if you can put those in the toothpick .....
Go to Michael or a party supply store. If you have a bakery supply store nearby they have. If all does go to a bakery / pastry shop locally and ask them if they have what you want and if you can not buy from them.
Good luck!
