The children return to school hungry? Do you need something new for lunch? Do you and your neighbors, your family and / or friends while enjoying cookies and exchange cookie recipes? Or maybe you enjoy the collection of your child in the kitchen cooking session on a rainy day. And then, maybe you just have a cookie monster in your home that is poured continuously your cookie jar. Here are some recipes you must try. Golf balls do not even need to cook, now how is easy. Angel Crisps are soaked in water and sugar before baking for a different effect.


CALIFORNIA COOKIES Golf Ball

2 cups creamy peanut butter
2 cups crispy cereal riced
6 oz chocolate chips
1 / 2 bar paraffin
2 cups powdered sugar
1 / 2 cup softened butter
butterscotch chips 6 oz

In a bowl, combine peanut butter, cereal, powdered sugar and softened butter. Form into meatballs. In a heavy saucepan, melt the wax, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Dip balls into sauce warm paraffin and place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Refrigerate to set.

ANGEL CRISP COOKIES

1 / 2 cup granulated sugar
1 / 2 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
1 egg
1 tsp teaspoon vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
1 / 2 c. salt
1 tsp teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon cream Tea Scale
water soaking
sugar for dipping

In a mixing bowl medium, beat together sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Mix well. Into balls size of a walnut. Dip the top half of each ball in water then in sugar. Place on a greased baking sheet and press the center with your finger. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-20 minutes or until they are lightly browned and crispy.
