Cookie Dough BitesSammi and Stuart Dog Training Treats and Biscuits

When my two puppies, Sammi and Stuart, where young, small bites I needed to give them treats for good behavior. This recipe was developed to make these treats. This recipe is very easy and the dogs seem to love sweets.

Later, the same recipe was used to make great witnesses. Me doing a lot of treats or cookies and store in refrigerator in airtight container. This recipe is an ordinary person - not a veterinarian or a nutritionist - but by someone who wants to feed their dogs and feed themselves and their families.

2-1/2 c whole wheat flour

1 / 2 C dry milk powder

1 stick margarine

1 egg

1 / 2 c water (or what is necessary to pull the dough together)

chicken (or beef) broth cube

1 cup honey (optional)

1. Dissolve bouillon cube in water about 1 / 2 c (microwave is the easiest and fastest method).

2. In a bowl, combine all ingredients. The dough should have the consistency of cookie dough. If the dough is slightly sticky or Soupy, add flour. If dough is dry, add water.

3. Form the dough into 1 / 4 "balls (for sweets) or 3 / 4" balls (for cookies) and arrange on a baking UN-greased.

4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Arrive 20 minutes to ensure that cookies are not burning.

5. Let treats / cookies cool and store in an airtight container (bag type) in the refrigerator.
