Christmas Tree CookiesDecorate the Christmas tree themes

Millions of people display Christmas trees in their homes every year and many of those trees feature the same decorations year after year: round glass ornaments, traditional lights, some tinsel and a star or angel on top . After a while, the traditional decorations start to get a little boring! Why not spice up the holiday season this year with a themed tree decorated in a unique and unusual? We have some tips and ideas to get you started. Here are some things you will want to consider in your quest for a new look.

Style:
Although there is no need to decorate your tree to match the decor of your home is probably a result because your home and tree both will reflect your sense of style and taste decoration. You also want to make sure that your tree look like it belongs in your home, you do not want a tree that looks like "in its place" with its environment.

Color:
A set of complementary colors between your room and the tree always creates a pleasing appearance. This does not mean you have to match your room completely, but some try to tie the colors together is always helpful. A room with black, brown, cream and beige fabric and carpet looks wonderful with a tree with white lights and silver, white, and gold ornaments. A room with a brightly colored furniture and walls much like a tree and lights with bright decorations that coordinate with the furniture. When choosing colors, remember to have fun!

Scale:
Keep in mind that large trees need more decorations. Just as it would be good to put 12 inch diameter ornaments on a tree 5 feet high, it would also seem strange to cover one tree 9 feet high with tiny ornaments 1 inch. Remember that the size of your tree should also be consistent with the size of the space. If you have a large foyer or living room with vaulted ceilings, choose a large tree that will make a great impression. For smaller areas such as bathrooms or corridors, trees, table and small can make a note of elegance.

Theme:
Now for the fun part chose the theme of your tree! If you have a special hobby or passion that you love, please take this into account in a fun tree. For example, if you like cooking, put a tree in the kitchen and decorate it with cookie cutters tied with bright ribbons, colorful recipe cards, cinnamon sticks, sugar and homemade cookies! If you have a collection of some kind, a Christmas tree is an excellent way of showing it. For example, the subject trees are very popular for those who collect model trains, cars, motorcycles, etc. Tie your collectables to the tree and use them as decorations. If you have a child, make a special tree for their room decorated with things that children love. Some good choices might include color crayons, paint sets, books, small, chalk, small cars and dolls. Of course, when decorating trees for the children, it is important to choose age-appropriate decorations. For very young children, be sure not decorate with anything that could be a choking hazard.

Whatever your preference, there are no limits to how you can express yourself with your Christmas tree. After all, it is a decoration of your house and it should keep you and your family's tastes! Be creative this Christmas season and think outside the box - you can really surprise you with a wonderful result!
