Where can I go buy cheap vegetable oil to produce biodiesel? Can I simply buy vegetable oil for biodiesel? Is it possible to pump and filter WVO to make biodiesel? Would it simply cheaper to buy from a producer, and what is the current average price right now?
If restaurants could ask around and see if they can give you one, you might as well buy a lot of vegetable oil from the supermarket, well after you have paid taxes on the fuel will probably not any cheaper than you can get the pump (yes, you must pay tax on biodiesel you make yourself, that means complete additional forms, if you do you may be charged).
there is no cheap oil to its Sams Club 6/gallon $. Used oil can be filtered. You must purchase the oil, filter it, mix thoroughly, and the net effect is that you'll have about $ / gallon in it. Then with the oil used, if you mess up the clean and mix your fuel system can be hidden and cleaned, the cost of $ 1,000.
biodiesel plant even more expensive than petroleum-based. You can by a 5% to 20% for the mixing stations at slightly more than regular diesel if you wish.
Yes you can. The cheapest I've seen was $ 6.65/gallon at Fred Meyer. BUT, using virgin oil to biodiesel is wasteful. It is best to use WVO (which is not only free, but recycled) I was told that if you buy oil by the trainloaf you can pay $ 0.80/gallon, but I doubt it true.
BTW, all the oil you use has already been taxed at least once. The government does not deserve your money and can never prove that you did not pay in cash at a station in your home bio. Do not feed the pigs.
actually most restaurants give you free, then good filter before use
