I was on Yahoo! Once the recipe for sugar cookies the most amazing ever, but being stupid, I do not mark it or anything.

It was an old recipe from Betty Crocker that do not involve any reduction.

Do you know who I mean?

BETTY CROCKER SUGAR COOKIES

1 1 / 2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup margarine or butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp tea. vanilla
1 / 2 c. tsp almond extract
2 1 / 2 cups all purpose flour or whole wheat
1 tsp tea. baking soda
1 tsp tea, cream of tartar
granulated sugar

Mix powdered sugar, margarine, eggs, vanilla and almond extract. Stir in flour, baking soda and cream of tartar. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.

For cooking:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Divide the dough into two halves. Roll each half thick on lightly floured board covered 3/16-inch clothing. Cut into desired shape from February to February 1/2-inch cookie cutters, sprinkle with granulated sugar. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.

Bake until edges are light brown, 7-8 minutes.

Super Sugar Cookies

1 cup butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup oil
2 v. teaspoon vanilla
1 cup granulated sugar

pinch of salt
5 -1 / 4 cup flour

Mix butter and sugars. Add the eggs, add oil. Add vanilla, mix soda, salt and flour. Add remaining ingredients. Roll into small balls and place on a baking sheet. Press flat with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 * for 10 minutes or until light brown.
