Almond Butter Frosting

Ingredients

2 cups butter, softened
4 (16 oz) package powdered sugar, sifted
3 / 4 c. teaspoon salt
1 / 2 cup almond liqueur
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 / 2 cup milk

Preparation

Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar one quarter, salt, liquor, and vanilla, beating until blended. Gradually add remaining powdered sugar alternately with milk, beginning and end of powdered sugar. Beat at medium speed the dissemination of consistency. Cover to prevent drying.

Yield
Makes 9 cups

1 / 2 c. of butter at room temperature
1 tsp tea. almond extract
Pinch of salt
3 1 / 2 tsp confectioners sugar
1 / 4 C. milk
3 tablespoons almond strips

In a cold bowl, beat butter, almond extract and salt until light - it will take about 2 minutes. Otherwise, add sugar and milk, beating well after each addition until mixture is creamy and smooth. When you are finished, beat the almond ribbons.

This is not rocket science. Much of the time I add a teaspoon of vanilla at the same time I add almond extract. You can beat some of the coconut in place of or together, you beat in the almond ribbons. After freezing the cake, you want the coconut on the job, he joined the icing while it is still wet and sticky.

Many other recipes out there for butter frosting, but it is adapted from my mother is always used. I can not guarantee that it is the best in existence, but it is damn good.

1000 gr of butter
1000 gr sugar
200g cake flour
1000 gr ground almonds
10 pcs eggs
200g chopped almonds (about)
